Found Teds Boatarama on the net. From first contact I was impressed with everyone I spoke to. Drove over an hour and a half because of the people I spoke with. Very down to earth and extremely willing to answer questions. Very helpful when we showed up to look at a boat prior to purchase and after buying as well. Every one involved in the process (over 5) was very friendly! Great dealership, shop, and showroom! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a boat or service work. 5 stars all the way! Excellent boat dealership with great service!

Commercial truck driving across country with a sailboat, we had a tire blow about 30min out annnd lights on trailer stopped about 3hours out. Googled and called these guys up while 2hours away they said stop on by and let's see if we can help you out. Just to say had called 2 shops before this and one said noon the next day, the other never answered. We pulled into their place and before the truck came to a complete stop these guys were out the door and headed to the trailer. Then set out to WORK. The lady inside was helping another guy try and find us a tire and was literally jogging to and from the trailer. Another guy was working on the wiring. Meanwhile a guy in a freakin boatcar pulled up. He didn't have anything to do with the shop but that was cool. Then ANOTHER guy comes out, sees one of the caps of the tire hurries inside to get and and places it on like no big deal. Not only were they friendly they were fast! Got us back in the road in maybe 45 min, closer to 30. It was like nascar pitstop for boat trailers. If you're in the area, or a days drive, it's worth it, I promise! Thanks yall

I'm thankful we have a marine store in the Quad Cities that continually solves my boating issues. Ted's Boatarama, for over thirty years, has always had trained staff available to help me with a range of needs from getting more speed to completing a tricky installation of a Minn Kota Talon for anchoring the stern of my duck boat from blowing around in high winds. Joel, in sales, and Rick, the service manager, figured out the solution for anchoring the duck boat. Also, Julie and Jeff, in parts and accessories, always seem to have "in stock" exactly what I need at the time. Boating has been much more enjoyable over the last several decades because of Ted's Boatarama.

Had exactly what I needed!

Just last week some friends and I took a fishing trip down to Lake Rathbun while down there we found out that my brand new boat from a year ago was leaking water in well we finished up our fishing trip okay but when we got done I called the dealer where I bought the boat new which is Ted's boatarama in Rock Island illinois they told me to bring the boat down and they would take a look at it so I did just this morning on Wednesday and after about an hour's time we found out that the boat had been damaged purposely by somebody drilling a hole in the bottom of it I thought this was going to cost me a bundle as it was not their fault but they absolutely charged me nothing which I thought was really nice of them and I would recommend doing business with them to any friends of mine that is Ted's Boatarama in Rock Island Illinois. -John Gansen

Traded in a couple blown 115 outboards on a rebuilt 90. Treated me right and it's still rocking with zero problems after 8 seasons!

People who work there are very helpful! They stayed an extra 2 hours after business hours to help with boat trailer lights that weren't working. Super friendly and helpful! Wouldn't hesitate to do business there in the future.

I just boat my first new boat from here. Tim and the rest of the crew was very nice and was exceptionally helpful. I got the boat home and my wife loved it, as this was the first she had seen it in person. I hope to do many years worth of business with you guys and gals.

Their service department is beyond excellent. My local boat shops wouldn't even look at my old Bayliner with a volvo outdrive. I had attempted to do some repairs myself and messed them up and thought some bearings needed replaced. The mechanics went right to work on it. Fixed what I messed up and determined that my bearings were fine. They could have done the extra work to make money, but that's not how they run their business. I figured it would take several weeks to get my boat back, but 6 days later they called me and told me I could come get it. I may live 70 miles away, but they definitely will have my business from now on. Thanks for getting back on the water!

We purchased a Tracker 40th anniversary edition last year. The timeline on receiving the boat was quite frustrating. BUT, Tim was our salesman. We can't say enough good things about him. We've had a few little issues since taking possession of the boat, but Tim has been wonderful and guided us through and gone above and beyond working it all out. He has definitely made us Teds Boatarama fans!
